1000 innovative clean energy solutions and > 150 framework enablers with the potential to deliver more than twelve gigatonnes of avoided emissions by 2030
These assessments are based on a basic avoided emission assessment. The overall concept of avoided emissions is that a solution (product or service) enables the same function to be performed with significantly less GHG emissions. The method of measuring avoided emissions, is to compare a baseline scenario without the enabling solution, with a scenario using the enabling solution; whereby the baseline represents the ‘business as usual’ (BAU) scenario.
These assessments are based on the framework document: The Avoided Emissions Framework (AEF) from September 2020

Air pollution can not be controlled without data. Our solution provides any urban area with a hyper-local monitoring network combined with modeling for the high spatial-temporal data needed for effective policy decision-making at an accessible price. Lower air pollution levels mean: fewer premature deaths; major savings on health, agriculture, infrastructure, the environment; while also having significant co-benefits for climate change... Households pay for the products with goats which uptrade then sells for a profit. Most rural communities lack cash to buy assets that meet their basic needs. Gfw has successfully launched in pakistan serving 7,000 farmers with an 11-person team. Their goat financing mechanism is in place. 16. Many developed countries use industrial-scale automatic sorting machines, however their high capital cost and infrastructural requirements prohibit their use in developing countries. Connected online communication services provide the means to work across geographies and between businesses seamlessly. This allows employees to use internal systems and connect with colleagues remotely, including from their own home, reducing commuting. Emission savings are achieved through avoiding commuter travel in either cars, trains or buses. Online meeting technology also allows internal and external meetings to be conducted between multiple persons without the need for all people to be physically present in the same place. The use of cameras, screens and smart meeting rooms avoids the need for business travel to the meeting location. The impact of avoided business travel can be significant if air travel is prevented. Current avoided emissions calculated per year (2018). https://www.verizon.com/about/sites/default/files/corporate-responsibility-report/2018/environment/efficiency.html
