1000 innovative clean energy solutions and > 150 framework enablers with the potential to deliver more than twelve gigatonnes of avoided emissions by 2030
These assessments are based on a basic avoided emission assessment. The overall concept of avoided emissions is that a solution (product or service) enables the same function to be performed with significantly less GHG emissions. The method of measuring avoided emissions, is to compare a baseline scenario without the enabling solution, with a scenario using the enabling solution; whereby the baseline represents the ‘business as usual’ (BAU) scenario.
These assessments are based on the framework document: The Avoided Emissions Framework (AEF) from September 2020
Plantzilla wrote: We build a sensor bundle that monitors plant vitals like soil moisture, sun light, humidity, and temperature. The sensor bundle communicates with an app that displays the information in an appealing interface and informs the user on the required steps to bring the plant to a better state, or maintain its state. The hardware is based on a microcontroller with the relevant sensors, and the user interface is a web based application. A pump is also integrated to allow for automatic irregation of the plants by avoiding over- and under-irregation and maintaining a desirable level of soil moisture... All this is achieved by telling the user how great it is what he does, and that every little bit of change is a good change. Https://deploy. Dlw2f3bpbe2qd.
