1000 innovative clean energy solutions and > 150 framework enablers with the potential to deliver more than twelve gigatonnes of avoided emissions by 2030
These assessments are based on a basic avoided emission assessment. The overall concept of avoided emissions is that a solution (product or service) enables the same function to be performed with significantly less GHG emissions. The method of measuring avoided emissions, is to compare a baseline scenario without the enabling solution, with a scenario using the enabling solution; whereby the baseline represents the ‘business as usual’ (BAU) scenario.
These assessments are based on the framework document: The Avoided Emissions Framework (AEF) from September 2020

The target is to make 50% of roofs’ usable surface ‘working’ for cleaner air, heat absorption, energy production and well-being of residents by 2025 through community involvement via win-win challenge competition... We solved this problem by producing bodysuit extensions - an ecofriendly solution for moms with kids up to 3 years that offers a longer period of usage to a small bodysuit (3 more months). Thanks to bodyextend. Me extensions, the bodysuit will grow at the same time with your baby and instead of 10 bodysuits moms can use only 5 for a longer period, helping moms minimize the expenses on bodysuits and the number of bodysuits necessary to raise a baby. Also we can cut in half resources needed to produce bodysuits such as - work force, fabrics, energy, which will reduce negative impact of baby fashion industry waste on the environment... Zhejiang Xinzhou Bamboo-based composites technology co., Ltd have developed a technology for bamboo winding pipelines that uses resin as adhesive instead of harmful chemicals. The company claims that bamboo pipes produced with their technology meets the security evaluation criteria of distribution equipment for drinking water. Thus, the solution has the potential to replace some welded steel pipes, PE pipes, and other traditional pipes in the market. Bamboo wood is a fast-growing source of timber which can be produced sustainably.

Batterypool offers a battery-swapping service for users of two-wheeler electric vehicles (EVs). The company claims that using this app-enabled swapping service, users will have their two-wheel EV fully charged in under 1 minute, compared to 4 hours with plug-in charging. They further claim that their solution also makes owning a two-wheeler EV 30 % cheaper than its petrol counterpart. The battery swapping service is enabled by patent-pending swap station hardware, product design, a small business retail model and an Internet-of-Things layer. With this solution, the intention is to drive the mass adoption of electric mobility among two-wheelers.
