1000 innovative clean energy solutions and > 150 framework enablers with the potential to deliver more than twelve gigatonnes of avoided emissions by 2030
These assessments are based on a basic avoided emission assessment. The overall concept of avoided emissions is that a solution (product or service) enables the same function to be performed with significantly less GHG emissions. The method of measuring avoided emissions, is to compare a baseline scenario without the enabling solution, with a scenario using the enabling solution; whereby the baseline represents the ‘business as usual’ (BAU) scenario.
These assessments are based on the framework document: The Avoided Emissions Framework (AEF) from September 2020

Green Aqua wrote: India is having 4% of world's fresh water, out of which 80% is used in agriculture. Green aqua will enable traditional farmers to transform their agriculture practices into sustainable method of farming by mimicking natural ecosystem in the farm environment. Our idea works on very basic principle of nitrogen cycle. Water with fish excreta is used as a source of nutrition and the same water is being recirculated for growing fish and vegetables and thereby saving 95% of water. Chemical pesticide usage is another pain point which leaves its residue on leaves and different parts of plants... Source: EIT Climate KIC's ClimateLaunchPad

Green Bang Snacks wrote: Green bang snacks is a company based in clean country with low pollution levels. It is lithuania. We started this company in order to produce organic healthy foods at an affordable price and do impact in food production technologies, food packaging technologies, achieve 0 waste emission, reduce ghg's and do impact on desertification by restoring forests. Right now we are working on plant-based organic snacks made from freeze dried berries, veggies and sprouted-roasted chick peas. We chose vegan snacks because plant-based food production need less resources and releases less ghg's. "the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now. Solution for Delhi's Pollution wrote: Burning of paddy straw is major cause of air pollution to go up to hazardous level in delhi during winter. Farmers of delhi and it's neighboring states, punjab & haryana burn paddy straw because it has no economic value for them. Our patent-pending technique for making environment friendly green garbage bags, carry bags and bed mattress from paddy straw would solve delhi's pollution problem. Paddy straw bed is quite warm, so it can be provided to people of cold regions. Plastic is banned in more than 80 countries world-wide and in india, plastic is banned in almost every state. In fact, in maharashtra plastic ban is being followed strictly and heavy fines are being imposed for use of plastic... Source: EIT Climate KIC's ClimateLaunchPad

Green Plastics wrote: We collect waste plastic materials from individuals in the communities in exchange for cash. We will communicate with these individuals through our ap where they will tell us their address and take a picture of their collection. Though this we create a source of income for the old ,disabled and unemployed. We will then sell the plastic bottles we accumulated to plastic recycling companies/projects . The rest of the plastics will go to our factories where they will be reinforced using pyloritic liquifaction and mixed with molten zinc to make the plastic stronger. We will then turn the 'new' plastic into plastic building materials which are stronger to construction companies at a much lower price ... Source: EIT Climate KIC's ClimateLaunchPad
