1000 innovative clean energy solutions and > 150 framework enablers with the potential to deliver more than twelve gigatonnes of avoided emissions by 2030

These assessments are based on a basic avoided emission assessment. The overall concept of avoided emissions is that a solution (product or service) enables the same function to be performed with significantly less GHG emissions. The method of measuring avoided emissions, is to compare a baseline scenario without the enabling solution, with a scenario using the enabling solution; whereby the baseline represents the ‘business as usual’ (BAU) scenario.

These assessments are based on the framework document: The Avoided Emissions Framework (AEF) from September 2020

CASP-Computer Assisted Super Pipeline

CASP-Computer Assisted Super Pipeline wrote: Casp- computer assisted super pipeline is a geothermal heat pump control system, making existing and new geothermal systems 25% more efficient. Our first to market product is unique as current technologies do not control the geothermal pipelines in the ground, they only act as an on / off system. Surface water hydro kinetic turbine

Surface water hydro kinetic turbine

MACLEC Technical Project Laboratory has developed a hydro kinetic turbine which is able to generate power in a low-velocity stream without blocking or creating any major disturbance in the flow of the water body. Being built to be installed radially over streams of water, the solution has little to no problem with debris/waste interrupting the power generation, even in areas with heavy debris build-up. For similar reasons the company states that it does not interrupt local aquatic life. The device is floating on the surface, thus being able to adjust to changing water level due to local weather.

Why use heating if we have the sun

Why use heating if we have the sun

Solar Pump wrote: At any time we ventilate, window opening we think a little when the cold comes in that is not good . If the solar pump passes through the fresh outside, preheated air, sunshine problem is solved!it's not just a preheat vent, but a solar powered heater. In this case the medium is gaseous - air. The air heated by the concentrated sunlight provides technical heat around the 200 ° c or at the desired temperature. It can provide solar energy for heating, industrial heat, which plays a major role in co2 emissions. What to burn on that day when it is boiling all day, rather than solar pump!hyperboloid light concentrator-heated cu core is passed through air through the heat. Our solution is a portal with posibility to combine different best tools and to make indexed datalayer comparisions - which are igiving you dada for right desicions even with estonian, swedish or uk landscape. As we do not have gigant fileds then our data processed with us/australia solutions will produce a lot of errors. And there is no farmers who would want to have sugestion to put more fertilyzers into road bordering with your field. But this will happens when using 10 and 30 m pixels for dataprocessing... Eco-Friendly Water Retention Natural Polymer

Eco-Friendly Water Retention Natural Polymer

Eco-Friendly Water Retention Natural Polymer wrote: We are trying to solving the major problem of the agriculture sector as well as the waste management problem. To solve these problems, we designed a natural water-absorbent polymer by using biodegradable waste that can absorb the 150 times of the water than its own weight and can hold absorbed water for a long period of time to maintain the moisture level with the soil. Our designed product is pollution-free, organic in nature, and biodegradable too so it helps improve the soil in an organic way and it will degrade in the soil after 6 months... Air Quality measurement with BigData

Air Quality measurement with BigData

Draken Technology Transfer Association wrote: Our solution is a remote measurement device which can be installed on public transportation vehicles, and could make measurements in pm2. 5 and pm10 with an 5 seconds of maximum sampling rate. The data consits more environmental data such as the exact gps position of the measurement, temperature, humidity, etc. The large amount of data could be determined by time and geographical position, so the past and present data could be monitored, pollutant sources could be tracked. The large amount of data and the different data sources can lead to a correlation understanding between different parameters (dewpoint, temperature, etc. ). Microbial clean-up of eutrophic waters

Microbial clean-up of eutrophic waters

EIDYA wrote: Eidya provides the aquaculture sector with the first comprehensive, microbial nature-based solution to remove excess nutrients from the water environment. These deteriorate health status of the farmed organisms and are also responsible for harmful algal blooms, which can kill off entire aquacultures. The cost of profit and jobs loss, ecosystem reclamation, decline in turism, recreational activities and ecosystem services usually counts in millions. Eidya prevents that. What's more, people consume more farmed than caught aquatic organisms, a trend which is expected to grow as the world's population increases. Hence, aquacultures worldwide will keep using more feed resources... Source: EIT Climate KIC's ClimateLaunchPad
