1000 innovative clean energy solutions and > 150 framework enablers with the potential to deliver more than twelve gigatonnes of avoided emissions by 2030
These assessments are based on a basic avoided emission assessment. The overall concept of avoided emissions is that a solution (product or service) enables the same function to be performed with significantly less GHG emissions. The method of measuring avoided emissions, is to compare a baseline scenario without the enabling solution, with a scenario using the enabling solution; whereby the baseline represents the ‘business as usual’ (BAU) scenario.
These assessments are based on the framework document: The Avoided Emissions Framework (AEF) from September 2020
YOUR GO FOR wrote: Your go for provides sustainable deposit packaging choice for loyal retail customers. It is b2b service, covering deposit packaging acquisition, collection, cleaning, storage, distribution & recycling at the end of the lifecycle. Also, we use consumers’ data both to optimize our deposit service and to bring value for the retailers we cooperate with. How does it work?. There are so many sections in supermarkets, where you can buy bulk production, and in case you forgot your own packaging, as a loyal customer you could get up to 10 your go for reusable boxes or bags for free. Our reusable box is light, durable and from co2 perspective it becomes a more climate friendly option just after 4 uses while could be used 50 times and more... Source: EIT Climate KIC's Climathon

Up to 90 percent of all chemicals washed into sewage from households consist of cleaning liquid, detergent and fabric softener. Detergents can contain micro plastics that pass through water treatment plants into natural water systems. Scandinavian Water Technology AB (SWATAB) has developed a solution they call DIRO-TM21 that enables laundry washing without detergents, at lower temperatures, giving shorter drying times. DIRO-TM21 is a filter system that can be readily installed in any public or private facility. Since DIRO filters out particles in water that can adhere to fabric, the laundry comes out not only clean but also soft to the touch.

Biogas-powered wrote: Our target audience are big companies and individuals. Our solution is to lease the bio-cars to them instead of encouraging them into buying it. This will reduce their risk of changing type of cars, as they do not have to commit too much into something so new. We will talk to real estate companies and offer them bio-cars leasing service. This will free up more parking space in the residential area and add more values to their premises. To individual, we lease the car to them and they have the choice to use it or rent it to other people when their bio-cars are not in use. This increases the efficiency of the bio-cars and give people the opportunity for a one-man business, which is economically beneficial for them... Source: EIT Climate KIC's Climathon

Thanks to bodyextend. Me extensions, the bodysuit will grow at the same time with your baby and instead of 10 bodysuits moms can use only 5 for a longer period, helping moms minimize the expenses on bodysuits and the number of bodysuits necessary to raise a baby. Also we can cut in half resources needed to produce bodysuits such as - work force, fabrics, energy, which will reduce negative impact of baby fashion industry waste on the environment...
