1000 innovative clean energy solutions and > 150 framework enablers with the potential to deliver more than twelve gigatonnes of avoided emissions by 2030

These assessments are based on a basic avoided emission assessment. The overall concept of avoided emissions is that a solution (product or service) enables the same function to be performed with significantly less GHG emissions. The method of measuring avoided emissions, is to compare a baseline scenario without the enabling solution, with a scenario using the enabling solution; whereby the baseline represents the ‘business as usual’ (BAU) scenario.

These assessments are based on the framework document: The Avoided Emissions Framework (AEF) from September 2020

Spark Sustainability

Spark Sustainability

Spark Sustainability wrote: 70 % of global greenhouse gas emissions stem from consumer choices, yet none of us know how to act to mitigate our own climate impact. Spark sustainability will change that by rebranding climate awareness and climate impact; by putting the climate impact of different everyday choices into perspective and by offering simple steps for individuals to become part of stopping climate change. We provide a platform for companies with low-carbon offerings and produce data on which personal climate actions are chosen first and why... Source: EIT Climate KIC's ClimateLaunchPad

Our goal is to engage and empower individuals to take action in reducing their environmental footprint, enabling the community to make conscious and personalized dietary choices. Our three pillars are: learn-by-doing, fun and knowledge exchange. Specifically, our community will be based on a membership concept, where the members would have access to the kitchen to cook together with other members or arrange meetings with friends... Smart buildings heating

Smart buildings heating

HeatMe wrote: Buildings are responsible for approximately 40% of energy consumption and 36% of co2 emissions in the eu, major part of it is energy requirements for heating. . Heatme is an innovative self-sustainable heat pump tech based building heating system. It uses external environment heat energy not only for building heating & hot water purposes, but also to power it self. . Like solar panels, heatme runs at no costs, and unlike solar panels, heatme runs even in cold weather and no sunny days. . Clean combustion of fuel in boilers

Clean Combustion REAEGR wrote: Our goal is to mitigate climate change by producing clean energy from biomass without of harmful air pollutants such as nox. One of the main sources of harmful air pollutants such as nox is biomass boilers of thermal power generation stations. We propose them to use our a low cost devices under tread mark reaegr that allows keeping sustainable regime of clean combustion of fuel close with the stoichiometric.
